Swimming Pool
The swimming pool provides a way to cool off and have some fun throughout the summer. Flint Oak's 24' X 45' outdoor heated swimming pool is centrally located in Hunt Village and just a short walk from our lodging facilities. Entertain the kids and unwind after a long day outdoors. Open mid-May through September, weather permitting.
Nature and Historic Trails
Our roads and trails create great opportunities for hiking. Rich in history, Flint Oak boasts some of the most fascinating sites. Historical sites include the remains of original homesteads, laid-up rock fences and corals, hand-dug well, Indian campsites and burial grounds, and national section markers. Our historical sites have been preserved for centuries; we ask visitors to leave them intact for future guests to enjoy. Lakes, ponds, and creeks provide breathtaking beauty, especially against one of our outstanding Kansas sunsets.
Equestrian
If you're looking for a scenic trail riding location for your equestrian club, or simply for yourself, you'll find our facilities most accommodating with paddocks for rent (bring your own horse, feed and bedding). Flint Oak's more than 6000 acre hunting preserve is laced with over 35 miles of roadways and trails to delight avid equestrians. Wildlife abounds and careful observers may even spot the extraordinary, like a Bald Eagle or possibly a Trumpeter Swan!
